Six languages, server settings and bug reports

NOS now speaks six languages, in the dashboard and in Discord. This release also smooths the first steps after signing up and lets you report problems without leaving the dashboard.

The dashboard and NOS now speak English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Russian. Pick your own dashboard language in the user menu or on your profile; until you do, the dashboard follows your browser.

New Server settings page: choose the language NOS writes in on your server. Messages, buttons, forms and all 310 collectibles with their names and stories switch to that language right away.

Report a bug from the user menu: describe what went wrong, pick the affected area and how serious it is, add steps and up to three screenshots, and the report goes straight to the NOS team.

Signed up with Discord? The dashboard now asks you once to set a password and confirm your email address, so you can sign in without Discord and turn on two-factor authentication.

• Settings pages warn you before you leave with unsaved changes, and ⌘S or Ctrl+S saves the page you are on.
• Changing your email address now works with a 6-digit code sent to the new address, and your old address gets a note once the change is done.
• The sidebar is grouped by task: Logging moved to Moderation, Server starts with the new Settings page, Leveling leads Community, and the games and fun commands share one Fun & Games group.
• The invite page explains when you don't own a Discord server yet, since only a server owner can invite NOS.
• Error pages, like a page that doesn't exist, look like the rest of the dashboard and take you back home with one click.

• The invite page no longer says it couldn't reach Discord when only your Discord sign-in had expired; it renews the sign-in and lists your servers.

• nos.bot is available in the same six languages, with a language switcher at the top of every page.
• Server owners who have had NOS for a month get one email inviting them to review it. Published reviews appear on nos.bot, and you can delete yours with the link in the email.

Lootables are now Collectibles

• The Lootables module is now called Collectibles: in the dashboard, in Discord and on this site. Your drops, inventories, fishing sessions and leaderboards carry over unchanged.
• The button under a drop now reads Claim instead of Loot. Loot Frenzy keeps its name.

Leveling: XP, levels and role rewards for chat and voice

Your members now earn XP for chatting and for time spent in voice, level up, and unlock roles along the way.

New Leveling module: members earn 15 to 25 XP per message (at most once a minute) and 10 XP per minute in voice with company, and climb levels on the curve they know from MEE6. A level-up posts a message in the current channel, in a channel of your choice or nowhere at all.

Role rewards: link levels to roles and NOS hands them out on level-up, either stacking every role earned or replacing the lower ones with the highest.

/rank shows a member's level, XP and place on the server; /levels ranks everyone and is part of the /leaderboards menu.

The Leveling page lists every member with XP, with a reset per member and one for the whole server. No-XP channels keep bot and spam channels out of the race, threads and forum posts included.

New dashboard, AutoMod, Moderation, Logging and Roles

The biggest NOS release so far: a rebuilt dashboard and four new modules that keep your server safe and organized.

The dashboard is new from the ground up: modules are grouped in the sidebar, every settings page tells you what NOS currently does on your server, and Ctrl + K searches every setting and jumps straight to it.

New AutoMod module: detectors for spam, mass mentions, caps storms, blocked words, invite links, suspicious links, attachments and new-member raids. Each detector starts in monitor mode and can be switched to enforce, and a Detections page shows what AutoMod caught and what it did.

New Moderation module: warn, time out, kick or ban with /mod, from a member's right-click menu in Discord, or from the dashboard. Every action becomes a numbered case with a reason and evidence links, posted to your mod log. Warnings escalate automatically, temporary bans lift themselves, and protected roles stay untouchable.

Bans, kicks and timeouts done outside NOS are recorded as cases too, and members can appeal a case through a simple form that moderators review in a queue.

New Logging module: edited and deleted messages with the original text, joins and leaves, nickname and role changes, voice channel joins, leaves and moves, and server changes, each posted to the staff channel you pick per category.

New Roles module: auto-roles for every new member on join (or once they accept your rules), plus self-role panels with one button per role in free-choice or only-one mode.

• Moderators can open the moderation pages of the dashboard without needing permission to manage the whole server.
• Your dashboard profile offers app-based two-factor authentication; with it on, NOS asks for the code after the Discord sign-in.

• Fishing sessions no longer offer the same bite several times in a row, and memory bites use clearly distinct symbols.

/leaderboards opens a menu that pulls up any of your server's leaderboards from one place and posts the standings to the channel.

• Server owners can switch each leaderboard on or off on its own.

Loot Frenzy events

Loot Frenzy events break out from time to time: for a few minutes the whole server gets more drops and better odds on the rare ones. NOS announces each frenzy in your channel, and a fishing session you start while it's live stays boosted until it ends.

Announcements module and fishing reel streaks

New Announcements module: connect any RSS or Atom feed to a channel and every new post lands in Discord automatically. Turn on the built-in NOS source to get NOS releases posted straight to your server.

Fishing reel streaks: land skill bites in a row to build a streak that raises your drop chance on skill bites. Your streak carries over into your next session.
